When it’s time to entertain guests at your next dinner party, or gather family around for a holiday meal, the dining room is where memories are truly made in a …home. We’re showing off three of our favorite dining rooms, all decorated by Erin Dunavant of SWAG Home Staging & Design, and all located inside homes in the Liberty Park community.
1) The Miner in Forest Hills
The open concept of this dining room makes for an easy transition between cooking and serving. The built-in custom cabinets include wide shelving for large serving pieces, which are usually hard to store in standard cabinets. We love the rustic charm of the chicken wire front in the upper cabinets.
Erin’s favorite feature? The industrial-style dining table, which boats a metal overlay and metal detailing on the edges.
2) The Lowrey in Heritage Hills
Set off the front entry, this stately dining room immediately makes a statement with its brick columns that welcome you to sit down for Sunday night supper. A second entrance from a spacious Butler’s pantry is both a clever and functional addition.
Erin’s favorite feature? The unique accents, from the rope-covered chandelier to the gold-accented painting that reflects the glimmering light from the chandelier.
3) The Essex in The Hill
Located directly off the kitchen, this dining room features tall windows that allow natural light to pour into the room. The room looks out onto the screened back porch, which invites you to keep the evening going by moving the party outdoors.
Erin’s favorite feature? The large, round dining table, which keeps conversation flowing between all guests sitting around it.
