As one of the largest fireworks shows in the state, Thunder on the Mountain Fourth of July fireworks show promises not to disappoint. On Thursday, July 4th at 9:00 p.m. the choreographed show will illuminate the sky above the statue of Vulcan. The show is set to a musical soundtrack that features a mix of patriotic favorites and popular music and lasts approximately 20 minutes. Or you can choose to go to Hoover for a free and fun event for the entire family! The Hoover Met will host Freedom Fest the evening of July 4th. From 6-9 p.m. there will be music, entertainment and a kids zone in the stadium and a car show featured in the parking lot. Food will be available for purchase in the concession areas too. The fireworks show will begin at 9 pm. Don’t miss it!
